What makes these authentic WWI saddlebags so special is their condition. 100% original and complete. All straps intact and functional, still have the original canvas liners. No repairs, holes or major damage. They do have stains, scuffs, scratches, some surface cracking etc. as you would expect for their age but the leather is very soft and supple! Best pair I have seen. Great even patina. Marked “Long 1917 W.J.D”. Museum quality. Nice and heavy!
Perfect piece to finish your McClellan saddle for re-enactments or I’ve seen these put on vintage Indian Motorcycles and they look so cool. Makes a great display piece on their own. Good luck!
