WWI US Army AEF M1912 Cavalry Bandolier Cartridge Belt  - Marked: Mills 1918 - for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield - Unissued Condition - RARE
Up for auction is a WWI US Army M1912 Cavalry Bandolier Cartridge Belt w/Lift the Dot Snaps.  It is marked: Mills 1918.  The is the 2nd pattern of this style bandolier.  It has 12 pockets that could hold one five round .30-06 stripper clip.   The M1912 bandolier was made into a gentle "U" form so that it could be buckled and worn over the shoulder.  The three pockets in the center were used for the .45 acp ammunition for the M1911 Pistol.  This example appears to be in Unissued Conditon.  There is a name written on the rear and a Unit marking. There is no evidence of wear or prior usage.  See photo's for Condition and markings.
