    Description

    M1907 Rifle Slings
Not some recent reproduction but the real thing! Two original WW1 [possibly early WW2] US GI M1907 rifle slings, brown leather construction with brass adjuster claws, one is medium brown shade and the other a darker brown. No markings or dates on either one. Leather has the usual minor stress cracks around some of the holes, but leather has been cleaned and is still very flexible on both slings. Only real problem I can see is that the leather keeper loops are missing.
M1907 slings with brass hardware were made from their adoption in 1907 until mid-1942, when replaced by steel hardware to save brass for more critical wartime uses. Nice slings to compliment any WW1/early WW2 US service rifles [M1903 Springfield, M1917 Enfield, M1 Garand] or trench shotguns [Winchester M1897/Model 12, etc.], in very good condition and one price gets both! Any questions please feel free to ask.
