  • Condition: US Army issued Aluminum Circular Disc Original Dog Tags on the original cotton tape cord from WW1. There is two dog tags on the cord. I believe the issue date of the dog tags was 1918. As the unit information is not on there, there is one hole on the disc, and there is a serial number on the back of it. The name on the front is Santo Messina and the serial number is 2414917. In good shape for age. The discs have areas of patina/age and few small spec areas of rust I have not polished them. I know most collectors prefer original condition. Minor wear marks and minor nick marks. The cord is one piece and not broken. It has age soil and areas of rust spots see close ups. Few areas of fray starting at the edge see close ups. Photos are in natural sunlight so you can see the details clearly.
