WW1 American Entrenchment Shovel With 1918 Cover ***READ DESCRIPTION***

Description

This is an original WWI American entrenchment shovel complete with an original cover manufactured by the Brauer Bros MFG CO dated September of 1918. The cover is faded but complete and still has the US and manufacturing mark still easily visible. There is some staining but no damage to the thick cotton material. The metal hook and buckle have wear but no corrosion. The shovel is solid but was refurbished. The rust was removed from the metal and the whole shovel was repainted its OD green. There is no damage other than what the rust did to the metal in the past. The US can still easily be read on the wood handle and metal scoops neck as seen in photos. This would be perfect to add to a uniform!
