Hand Held Therapeutic Oscillator

This is a funky cool early medical device
Designed and patented by Nathan D Mininberg in 1946
(I included a picture of the patent in the listing)
This is a hand held Therapeutic Oscillator......plugs into the wall.....electrical cord is original cord (inner connections redone)
Produced during the "Atomic Era"...this has the look and feel of a missile.....LOL
Cone portion of oscillator measures approx 7" in length and is approx 3" in diameter at the widest point
Hand held portion does show some signs of wear.....minor scuffs, scratches, and some minor metal oxidation that occurs naturally with age
Handle portion has a rubber "end" on it,,,tan in color
This works!!!!!....what is classic is when you open it up.....
What causes the oscillation is a fan blade run by a small electric motor that has extra weight bolted to one side
of the fan blade causing it to be off balance...hence when spinning....creating an "oscillating" sensation
