Vintage 1960’s American Airlines Sterling Tiffany Bottle Caps (2) with Pouch

Very Rare! This is a pair of beautiful Sterling Silver Bottle Caps made by Tiffany and Co. for American Airlines. The American Airlines logo on the top of each bottle cap dates these between 1962-1967. They measure 1 1/4” (3.1 cm) each and weigh 9.8 grams each. They are Sterling Silver on the exterior and on the sides with white notched plastic on the interior. They are in excellent condition with no scratches, dents or cracks in the interior of the plastic and do not show any signs of excessive wear. They are marked STERLING and TIFFANY on the under side. They come with a vintage genuine Tiffany and Co. flannel cloth pouch with centered lettering, serged stitching and nicely finished in the interior of the pouch. The pouch measures approximately 3”x3” with a 2” flap. These were recently purchased at an estate sale. This set is sure to be a nice addition to anyone’s aviation or Tiffany collection.
