Original and most superb U.S. M1912 Cavalry Swivel Holster for the Colt 1911 .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol. This holster is first year production and is dated 1912 on back, also rock Island Arsenal manufacturer marked and government inspected H.E.K. The front of the holster is deeply embossed US. The holster still remains very pliable in condition, has never been repaired nor modified, and is not oil soaked. Usually when enchanted these holsters are very stiff and will not accept a pistol. Not the case with this holster as it will accept as can seen in the first picture a Colt 1911 very easily. These holsters were manufactured circa 1912-1916 when they were replaced by the M1916 which we all are familiar with. This holster is 100% lifetime guaranteed to be an original.
