PETE GRAY (One-Armed Baseball Player) LAMINATED STORY/INFORMATION SHEET (1979)

Description

Up for auction is a laminated sheet measuring 14" across X 8 1/2" high. It shows some staining and edge wearing. It is the story about Pete Gray the major league baseball player who lost his right arm when he was six years of age. He played for the St. Louis Browns in 1945. One side has the neat story about Gray while the other side has a "comprehension check" (quiz) about the story. It seems to be geared towards younger folks. It has a copyright date of 1979 as part of the Sports Reading Series of Big League Baseball Reading Kit.
