Description
Crafted especially for those who use the Mexican Loteria cards as a divination tool. This is a lighthearted version of a Mexican Tarot set. You can assign your own meanings to the images as well as read them intuitively. The images in this set were cut from game cards used in the "Crafty Chica" Loteria Game. The edges were "burned" to give them a worn, well-used look. Crafty Chica Loteria uses 52 images rather than the traditional 54 images associated with the Don Clemente Loteria Game. Photos show all 52 tiles that make up the set.
Each of the 52 wood tiles were hand-cut, charred and blackened by fire to bring out the wood grain. Three coats of satin-finish polyurethane were applied to seal the wood and put a protective coating over the attached images. These wood pieces have a smooth, solid feel and handle very nicely. Also very durable. Plus no two wood tiles are alike!
Photos are of the actual set you will receive.
Materials used in crafting these are all non-toxic.
Each tile measures approximately 1-1/2" x 1".
The included black velvet drawstring bag is roomy so you can mix/shuffle the tiles completely before drawing out a spread or simply to pull a tile to read on the fly. It has enough storage room for the tiles and other divination tools like card decks, crystals, cloths, and other accessories you may want to carry together.
Check out my "Don Clemente" Loteria tile set also for sale! That one has an antique look. Another oracle available is a traditional French Lenormand tile set.
