Description

The Linweave Renaissance Tarot is a 42 card deck printed in 1967 to promote a range of Linweave brand papers produced by the publishers. The huge 8-1/2”x 5-1/2” cards were created by several artists.
In 1967 the Linweave Paper Company was looking to promote its outstanding paper products, so they hit on a terrific promotional idea – publish a large-format, full color Tarot Deck with art in the contemporary style executed by several top graphic artists of the moment. So they hired Ron Rae, Nicolas Sidjakov, Hy Roth, and David Palladini to do it, and the results was a lively whimsical deck that looks like it came straight out of “Yellow Submarine”.
Each card is a lithograph on different colors. Each card has an illustration on front and full description of the character on back as well as the artist’s name.
The box for the cards is worn from being handled. The cards themselves are very clean and bright –
