Offered here is a beautiful & seldom seen blue Mayfair or "Open Rose" cookie jar & cover manufactured by Hocking Glass Co. during the 1930's! Measures about 7-1/2" tall & about 5-1/2" in diameter across the broadest diameter. Condition is very good considering the age of this piece but, not perfect. One corner of the lid has some minor chips or nicks measuring 1/16th to 1/8th inch in size. Inside the inner rim of the jar are additional minor chips/nicks of similar scope and size. There are close up pictures attached to the listing to best illustrate these minor imperfections. No other damage/cracks/cloudiness or repairs.
