This version of our Magnum Power Adjuster only fits the models stated in the listing title including Fortitude Gen 1&2. It doubles as a degassing tool and includes one of our custom .045" WD hammer springs. It has a spring guide that sits inside the hammer and a spring guide on the adjustment knob that touch when the hammer-spring is almost completely compressed, this allows the hammer to be forced forward to open the valve-stem and degas the gun without over-compressing the hammer-spring or preventing it from operating at full power. The guide inside the hammer is to prevent damage to adjustable hammers in models like the Marauder Pistol and our custom hammers which all have a set-screw adjustment inside the back. All you need to do is make sure the sear is released by pulling the trigger, loosen the locking collar and move it all the way to the rear of the knob, then adjust the knob forward until the air releases out through the barrel. Make sure the hammer is not cocked, the gun is not loaded and it's securely pointed in a safe direction with the bolt closed before pulling the trigger or starting the degassing process. If the hammer is cocked the degassing knob can damage the sear and other trigger-group parts.
The adjuster knob, bushing and locking collar are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the spring guides are made from
410 stainless steel.
