ANTIQUE WOODEN FORTUNE TELLING BOX WITH PAPER FORTUNES, 1900’s

Description

The box measures about 4” x 2 ½” x 1 ½” and is full of small paper fortunes that are rolled.
Some of the fortunes warn you like:
If you trust this person, you may have cause for sorrow.
And some read like: By knowing this person, you will insure your happiness. Your dealings will bring prosperity.
The lid to the box slides on it to keep the fortunes secure.
Unfortunately the picture on the slide is worn but you can still see that it tells you there are 100 fortunes inside.
I haven’t counted them so there may or may not be exactly that amount.
