Antique Springerle Rolling Pin

Description

The rolling pin has a central leaf and berry pattern surrounded by two chip carved rows on each side. The roller is approximately 3" wide and 2 3/4" in diameter. Elaborately turned handles extend about 5 1/4" on both sides of the roller bringing the total length to about 13 1/2". Condition wise, there are scrapes and scratches consistent with age and some chips around the roller carving. The is also a 3/8" wide x 1/16" deep chip out of one edge of the rolle.  The roler turn smoothly and one handle slides out to allow the roller to to be cleaned.
