    Description

    Very Fine Antique Japanese Silk Embroidered Fukusa of Jo and Uba, the Spirits of the Pine Trees of Takasago and Sumiyoshi. Dark Blue Silk Backing. Traditional gift cover. Circa 1780 - 1820.  Edo period.
    Measures 27 ¼” x 22 3/8”. Old black wood frame is 28 ½” x 23 7/8”.
