Stoneware Rolling Pin Newhall Iowa 125th Anders?n Stoneware Co. Limited Edition 76/125 Wooden Cradle and Burley Clay Products Co. USA stoneware crock.
Beautiful example of a reproduction stoneware rolling pin, marked Anders?n Stoneware Co.
It is a limited edition, # 76 or 125.
Advertising Newhall Iowa, 125 years, 1882 – 2007 on one side, Anders?n Stoneware, C. Grundy Center, Ia.
Ltd. Ed. 125, and numbered 76.
It is in excellent condition and is displayed in a wooden cradle, marked on the bottom Handcrafted by Gary E. Anderson, Waterloo, Ia.
The rolling pin is in excellent condition as is the wooden cradle.
On the cradle, there is a small rough patch on the end that faces out and I replaced one of the felt circles.
It measures 17 inches handle to handle, the barrel is just under 8 inches long and 10 inches in diameter, and the wooden base is 8x4 inches.
The crock is also stoneware, and is marked
Burley Clay Products Co. USA. It is 6 3/4 inches tall, 6 1/8 th inches wide at the mouth.  There are no chips or repairs. It does have some small spots, under the glaze.
These are beautiful pieces and would display very well.
