2005 BMW R-Series

Description

Bike in excellent running condition, just haven’t used it much in the last 2 years and could use the garage space. Have done several 500+ mile days on this bike, super comfy on the highway, yet still being nimble in the curves. Boxer engine has tons of low end torque and runs very smoothly.
Rear tire is new, front is older, but probably still has a few thousand miles left. Will change oil before sale. Lots of maintenance records. Clutch was replaced under warranty around 15k miles so it should be good for at least another 15k per the BMW maintenance schedule.
Cosmetically I would put the bike at a 7 out of 10: Some shoe scuffs on hard cases and a few scratches in the paint.  Windscreen is a newer OEM part with no swirl marks.  Some of the powdercoating is flaking off on front of engine case.  All minor details, but want to be as transparent as possible.
Running condition 9 out of 10: I have videos of cold startup and idling and warm running and idling.  Engine occaisonaly idles rough for a bit when warming up, seems to be common on other oil-cooled r1200s I've been on as well. I usually put fuel injector cleaner through it once a season and it will clear this up, but they could stand to be pulled out and cleaned too.  Once the bike is warm it runs and idles perfectly.  Smooth shifting through the gears and the clutch is in good working condition.  I have flushed the brake system, replaced brake pads, gear oil, final drive oil in the last 6,000 miles.  I would not hesitate to ride this to either coast right now.
Has throttlemeister, heated grips, and removable handguards for colder months.
BMW system hard cases, 2 extra wind screens (Z-technic and Wunderlich), and the garmin zumo included at the asking price!
