2002 BMW R-Series

Description

2002 BMW R 1150 RT. Looks and runs like new. Only 16,400 miles. Just had Max BMW of N. Hampton, NH perform equivalent of 12,000 mile service. New oil and filter; final drive fluid; air filter, spark plugs; valve adjustment; brake drain, flush and fill (ABS); all wheel bearings and suspension connections are tight; brakes and tires in good shape; new sealed battery. Tech who worked on bike said it was like new. Only thing that keeps it from being perfect are the scratches on the valve cover (see photo) from when I lost balance in work parking lot. No other damage except for my pride...
Reason for selling: Like the previous owner, I've only put on around 1,000 miles per year in four years. Two owners have gently cared for the bike. Now it's time for some one else to give it a good home. Still good for 100,000 plus miles! Why pay ,000.00 plus for a new BMW when one can have this pristine example just barely broken-in for a fraction of the price?

I forgot to add that in my four years of ownership, I've never ridden in the rain-except for a brief shower that caught me 2 miles from home. I don't think the previous owner ever rode it in the rain, as well.
