    "In preparing this 1981 ad promoting American Airlines' new Hawaii services, (advertising agency DDB) Doyle, Dane Bernbach (since replaced by Bozell & Jacobs) used a photo of the French island of Moorea, near Tahiti.  When the mistake was discovered, the ad was pulled at the cost of ,000 USD in production expenditures plus some red faces."
