This auction is for
two (2)
Sunkist Invitational Indoor Track & Field Meet
programs
from events held at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.
The program on the left is from January 19th, 1974, with
Steve Prefontaine
on the cover. He raced in and won the Open 2-Mile Run. It measures 8-1/2" wide by 11" tall and is in
very good to excellent condition
, with minor hairline creases at the top right corner.
The program on the right is from January 16th, 1976, less than a year after Prefontaine's death. A tribute article is pictured in one of the photos. It measures 8-3/8" wide by 11" tall and is in
poor to fair condition
, with rusted staples, minimal discoloration at the spine and a page missing. The page that it was connected to is in place but not attached.
Both of these programs have the results written in for many of the events.
