1948 HARKER POTTERY SWEETHEART ROSE ROYAL GADROON RARE OVAL PLATTER 16" x 12"

Description

This listing is for a beautiful vintage VERY large oval platter by Harker Pottery in their Sweetheart Rose Royal Gadroon pattern. Harker also made a Sweetheart Rose pattern with plain rims, but the Royal Gadroon rim treatment is less commonly found. This extra large serving piece is even more of a rarity.
The backstamp dates this piece to 1948.
Measures a whopping 16" X 11 3/4". Please note that the background of this piece is WHITE. My flash was working inconsistently. The photos where the platter look rather yellowish were taken without a flash.
No cracks, or, staining, or unusual wear. There is a glancing chip on the BACK of the rim - see last photo. When the platter is sitting upright, this flaw cannot be seen.
Will be wrapped with care and shipped with GOBS of packing material!
