    This spring fits 2240, 2250, 2260, 2300KT, 2400KT, 1300KT, 1377, 1322, 2289G Backpacker, PC77 and similar models. It works well with
    Discovery and Maximus models operating in the 1200-2200 PSI range.
    If upgraded to operate at higher pressures our .045" WD version is recommended.
    It's 1.5" long and .042" wire diameter. The ends are squared and ground flat to compress straight. It produces more power and better shot consistency with less hammer bounce. This spring works well without a power adjuster. If pre-loaded with a power adjuster it tends to be too strong and can damage the gun when CO2 pressure is low or at low pump numbers with 13XX. Using one of our custom power adjusters is highly recommended to reduce spring tension when shooting with CO2 in cool temps or at low pump numbers with 13XX.
    The power adjusters we have listed for 22XX and 13XX allow you to fine-tune spring tension for the best balance of performance, accuracy and efficiency.
    The more striker spring tension you have the harder it becomes to pull the bolt back. It works the smoothest if you hook your finger around the handle close to the breech and pull back in one quick motion.
    More hammer spring tension also increases trigger pull. Custom trigger, sear and spring upgrades are listed that reduce pull, increase comfort and accuracy.
    Our power adjusters allow you to use just enough hammer force to get the power level you need without excessive bolt and trigger pull or wear on critical parts.
